Use of bunnies in Magic show

I am completely disgusted that the bbc see fit to use live animals, especially rabbits in magic shows. Do they not realise the impact on these animals. The noise from an audience, het and bright lights, all made those poor bunnies look terrified.

BABY SWAP EASTENDERS

Please end this disgraceful, cruel and inaccurate representation of probably one of the most immotive human experiences - infant death. I would like to know if the writers of this monstrous storyline have ever held a dead baby in their arms, because if they have, I would like to bet this story would have never seen the light of day. This is a disgraceful attempt to get viewer ratings and handled about as sensitively as a charging rhino. Wind this travesty of a story up now and if cot death is to be aired in the future, please research the subject with far more accuracy and sensitivity.

EASTENDERS COT DEATH - POST NATAL DEPRESSION

I know that it has caused outrage. But has any one thought about the good messages it is giving out about mothers with post natal deppresion. This was not a woman working on her own rational mind. I have experienced the loss of my child, devastating. But I have also expereinced the worst post natal deppresion with 2 of my children.( I could never have another because of it). No I'm not saying I'd swap my child in my sane mind...

EASTENDERS BABY STORYLINE

I would just like to register my disgust at the present story line about cot death in Eastenders. My grandson, also named James, died 25 years ago on Sunday. His mother or myself have never got over it and the story has sensationalised a subject that is occurring every day in this country. Please take it off as soon as possible and stop this terrible story line. No mother should be allowed to pretend to lose her child and to see Kath, although acting very well, is so upsetting for the real parents...

Simon Barnes of the Times cast a slur on the character of Ian Bell when he suggested (Today programme about 7.00am) that Bell should have walked on an appeal that he had been caught. The umpire is the sole arbiter of whether or not a player is out.

I just want to add my distaste at Eastender's baby swap storyline. I think this is not only a highly improbable situation but I think the writers have just gone over the top this time. They should back out of this storyline asap.

Whilst I have always tuned into Eastenders for years, and watched the recent epsiodes with admiration for the actors and actresses playing out these very difficult scenes, I must query the timing of this storyline over what should be a magical and enjoyable time of year.

well where do i start ... i have always been a massive fan of eastenders i try 2 never miss an episode . this whole cot dealth and baby swap is the worst thing ive seen ever !!!! cot dealth itself is a very very hard and distressing time for those who have suffered from it , but 2 then swap the baby with sumone eles's baby is just discusting i really dont know how eastenders have got away with this ! please sort this and bring it to an end its far to distressing to watch !!

BBC2 STARGAZING LIVE

During an otherwise excellent programme, there was a remark stating 'Astrology' is rubbish. The reference was made without any proof given or offered. Considering 'Astrology' has been studied as long as 'Astromony' or longer, the comment was completly unjustified, and has damaged the reputation of the presenter and the programme. I suggest an appology is given on tonights programme.

COT DEATH STORYLINE

well iam soo dissapointed with this story line have the writers no feelings for people who have been through this situation i very sadley lost my baby at 24 weeks preganant we gave our baby a funeral and laid him to rest i belive u will be giving the baby a funeral iam so disgusted i have heard so many people who have not been viewing eastenders since this storyline came out myself n family included so if you wanted to up ya ratings think u lost out i was an avid fan n always watched ee but will never watch it again thanks for that

THE OUTRAGEOUS STORYLINE OF THE BABY SWAP

My husband and I are absolutely disgusted and appalled at the Kat, Ronnie story line. The decent and appropriate thing for the BBC to do is to put the situation right and quickly. Cot death is dreadful but a woman having her baby stolen and grieving a baby that isn't hers is monsterous. Shame on the BBC and the insensitive and crass person that came up with the storyline.

ZEN - THE ART OF PRATIFICATION

In a tried and tested format why does the BBC insist on promoting this Sunday night drivel as though we should relish this type of programming. The Wallander series was somehow manipulated into something awful for Sunday nights starring Kenneth Branagh but this Zen is something else, which Bright spark in the beeb thinks foreign locations, a few well worn stereotypes and English actors make good television.Utter Bile.

The upcoming storyline re the death of Ronnies baby is just too much. I am not going to be watching it, it is unneccesary and distressing to anyone who has lost a baby or young child. Shame on you writers.

ust a point of view - but probably shared with other Scandinavians: Mariella Frostrup was born in Norway. She is known for her presentation of cultural and literary programmes. As such she should have been the natural choice to commentate the very interesting Time Shift programme on Scandinavian crime writing recently broadcast on BBC 4.

have just watched 3 men go to scotland and i have seldom seen 3 more patronising clowns in my life. What about Rory McGrath walking around Oban dressed like a tramp an doing his best to make wearing a kilt look as if hes wearing a bag of washing.Also when they went to corryvreckan whirlpool they obviously went when the tide had turned so it wouldnt be so active. There was also the way the kid on welshman kept mocking a scottish accent its the same rubbish with the bbc everytime they do a programme in Scotland...

TOP GEAR AND THE THREE WISE MEN

I watched Top Gear's mockery of Christian beliefs and I was very angry at the betrayal of the journey of the Three Wise men to Bethlehem. Clarkinson's referal to May as the boy king etc. was beyond belief. I have just watched a trailer for the same crew in Scotland and saw the Stig as Jesus in the manger. What is the BBC coming to when they can be allowed to insult a religion with drivel such as this?

TOP GEAR DRIVE BY SHOOTING

Was it just me who was appalled by the content of Top Gear, broadcast 21/12/10? All was going well for me until they saw fit to simulate a drive by shooting! I know it was only a cardboard cut out of The Stig they were aiming at, but the delight they took in graphicly describing where to aim made my stomach churn. I instantly recalled the tragic death of the 11 year old boy in Liverpool, he was an innocent child simply walking home after a game of football, who got caught up between rival gangs and a gun!!!

i cant believe a message left by a user of this forum commenting on scottish accents.the thing he does not seem to understand is that scotland has many different dialects or is he under the impression that scotland is just one big villiage where they all eat haggis and wear kilts.i am an englishman who has lived and worked in scotland for many years i have never had a problem with any of the accents i have heard,and the majority of scottish people i have met are warm and friendly.and as for scotlands population being a minority it has certainly contributed a lot of inventions that everyone in the world has benefited from. including the t v .

BBC-you have insulted your viewers on SCD this year.The judges have shown a ridiculous bias towards certain celebs....it has been quite sickening to watch.Each week their scores and comments have been so predictable.Blatant & unprofessional favouritism is unacceptable in a competition. Friday's semi-final was a DISGRACE.

SCOTTISH ON THE BEEB

I'm sure the people at the BBC would like to say they operate a non discriminate policy on who they employ or interview, but I think otherwise. Every time I switch on the radio or TV I am met with the sometimes grating sound of the Scottish accent. If its not the presenters, then its whoever they choose to interview. Its blatant and I think offensive to other people. Scottish are an absolute minority in the British Isles and yet the BBC portray them as being the majority. If that wasn't bad enough, just turn to ITV and see how many adverts have Scots narrating them! Drives me nuts!!!!!
