I have just read the programme guide for BBC1 next Saturday - nothing but rugby from midday till 10 pm then football from 10.15. Not all of us want to watch rugby and have our Saturday viewing cancelled. Can there not just be a channel for sport and leave our usual programmes alone. We often have the times of our soaps etc. moved to another day. You have to be on the ball otherwise you miss it.

BBC Breakfast 8.00am 04/03/10

During the item on children with birth defects in Falujah, no-one explained why the Americans might be responsible. The fact that they and the British used shells with depleted uranium tips was not mentioned. A Dec. 2003 article in The Guardian reported increased radioactivity in soil samples taken from around Basra after the invasion of Iraq and suggested that they may be a cause of cancer and birth defects. While it is quite possible that, as suggested on the programme, the Iraqis themselves may have been responsible via the insurgency or following on from Saddam's experiments with chemical weapons, to omit any mention of why the Americans may be to blame was to tell only half the story.

Why do we pay licence fee for the BBC to spend our money on talentless s**t. What an absolute waste of air time. NIL POINTS.

i as a tv license holder demand that the bbc should be more answerable to us the owners. we HAVE to pay this license and all that seems to be on is dramas dramas and more dramas. im sure theirs a lot of people out there like me mainly male who see the beeb as unfit for purpose. your aiming way too much at the female populaces because of p c, balance must be restored! for anyone interested a web site anti bbc.com is very interesting. ive subscribed and i think many of you should too. the beeb is getting too big for itself and arrogant. they over pay the staff with our money and much is being creamed. get real all and subscribe now!

Disgusting viewing

For the 3rd time in about 2 weeks I have sat down with my dinner to watch Eastenders to see someone being sick. Is there really any need for this? How disgusting to keep seeing someone retching and then puking all over the pavement. Not only is it on Eastenders but there are so many other programmes that feel they need to show this too. And not only is seeing someone being sick absolutely disgusting, but hearing it is also vile.

BBC 2 Programme Newsnight

Dear Sir. I started off being interested in the programme Newsnight yesterday 1Oth March. But every time someone gave their point of view Jeremy Paxman interrupted them, then now and again three people were talking at once. It could have been an lovely interesting programme, all about education. It was so frustrating. Other people must have felt the same. Is there no one who could regulate them giving Ed Balls , Justin Rowland, David Laws and others time to speak ?

Chris Evans breakfast show

Having listened to Terry and his wonderful sidekicks for many years, I tried to be open minded about Chris Evans. Listened for about half an hour on five occasions, but had to switch it off. Just not what I want to listen to so early in the day. Richard Allinson, who has taken over while Chris has a week off (already), does a much better show. Steve Wright would be better. Chris has far too much interaction with listeners, tries to appeal to a wide audience, which is impossible, has too much stuff going on, isn't funny and is too manic (as anticipated). Take a long holiday, please, Chris!! Also gutted that Sarah Kennedy finishes at 7 am. Many friends feel exactly the same way. What are all Terry's listeners now listening to?

Nothing on the box for the over fifties

Why do you lot at the BBC think we oldies want to watch the comic book crap you put on .We are mature people with good education and working skills behind us .Plus we pay our Tv liecence for you to insult our intelligence.Do you really think we need men to show us how to cook.land girls on at teatime, with the only thing it does is fill our kids up with sexual ideas,that as nothing to do with land girls from the forties.You are obsessed with the fact that you think every one wants sex and violence stuffed in them , Instead of good family drama to get the evil thoughts out of our childrens heads and they can get back to being safe again, I feel along with lots of other folk that the tele and news media as ruined our country and the way of life we use to have as kids.

Eastenders - Danielle Westbrook

I am absolutley disgusted that the BBC have allowed Danielle Westbrook to return to the program despite her efforts as a JUNKIE of the higest order, the media seem to enjoy bringing back junkies and publicising them as if they are heros?????? various pop stars are idolised despite teh country trying to educate the young against drugs, then they put them back on prominant soaps, how can they justify this??????

Basil Brush Show

I was quite surprised to see a suggestive looking young lady in a very short skirt with midrift showing, dancing around singing a song in which the lyrics were, 'all bad boys like a bad girl to get a little bit crazy'. What the hell was that supposed to mean?! I don't think that's appropriate on a kids tv program. My husband and I were quite shocked. I have a responsibility to ensure they don't watch anything unsuitable but I was a bit worried programs aimed a children as young as 8,9 and 10 would contain such content.

the last two races have been appalling, there is a half hearted attitude towards this sport. If hey dont want to provide a good rogram sell it on so that someone else who has a heart and passion for sport other than formula 1 and tennis can make good of it.!!

Government Expenses

Why is there no coverage of the latest round of greedy parasites in governemt taking expenses for so called 2nd homes on the BBC news site? Baroness Uddin has taken over £100,000 of taxpayer money and the BBC are ignoring it again!!

Ousted Speaker

How can minor officials stand up to the duress they are placed under by a network of back scratching, entitlement grasping, trough hugging establishment figures. No doubt the BBC will argue that many MP's are threatening legal action against the Telegraph and that Speaker Martin is pursuing a complaint with the Metropolitan Police against whomever leaked those receipts to the Telegraph. This shows how out of touch Speaker Martin is and I very much hope the BBC reports what happens on MP's efforts to oust him as speaker.

Cerrie Burnell

tuseday 24th feb i was amazed to read in The Sun newspaper that the bbc was flooded with complains about one of the cbbies persenters (Cerrie Burnell) about the fact she has 1 arm i have a 18m month old son that thinks shes amazeing and has a great time watchins her and the other members of cbbabies. i just could not belive the small mindedness of some people in this day and age we live in and the fact the the artical said that it made parents to explain this at a eaily age is crazy as what about those parents that live with this eveyday im am so glade that she is on and that my son have a chance to see these things for a eaily age and that he will develop with hes eyes open.....

Strictly come Dancing

For whatever reason people voted for John Seargeant in the popular BBC TV Show Strictly Come Dancing they did so because they wanted him to carry on!!
What right has he to quit and not honour and respect peoples votes on a show based on peoples votes.

Top Gear

Can you please explain why my licence fee is wasted on top gear.Firstly we have the arrogant, egotistical halfwit Clarkson who thinks the sun shines from the seat of his pants with Hammond worshipping the rays.Now we have the said Hammond or B.H.P. Hammond does that stand for bl**dy horrible pygmy Hammond. He is really a piece of work, he has had more crashes than a crash dummy so maybe that would a better career for him instead ruining all those expensive vehicles.James May seems to be the only without a complex but trouble is on the way if he keeps associating with that pair of Bampots.Thank God there is a decent motoring programme called Fifth Gear, Tiff Needell & company are far superior drivers and they dont suffer from dilusions of grandeur but give motoring advice as it should be given,without the services of the Stig to enhance their catalogue of stupidity and ego trips.I am so glad I have my remote control handy so I can give Clarkson&Hammond the ZAP, Ionly wish it was permanent but alas it is only wishful thinking.

iPlayer

Have just watched this on i-player. What a pleasure to see a factual/scientific prog without intrusive and unnecessary loud music, silly and repetitive CGI graphics and sound effects, and a daft 'celeb' presenter with designer stubble. Other documentary producers please note...you don't need all the razzmatazz, it just detracts from the subject matter. So many of this genre of prog border on the unwatchable...this was sheer class.

Football Results

the results for england get put up on the bbc red button, but for the scottish 1st, 2nd and 3rd division do not get put up. looked all over sport red button and its not there. this is discrimination for the the scottish football legues!!!!!!

Bill Turnbull and spam butties

I'm sorry but I think Bill was needlessly rude this morning in ?Leeds after interviewing the local businessman and citizens advice bureau worker. The restaurant owners were very kind to offer Breakfast their facilities for interviewing, but if their food is a little bit junk that's no reason to try and be clever at their expense.
