Top Gear Mexican jokes
E-mailed to the BBC and Cc'd to the Mexican ambassador to the UK:
Dear BBC,
I am a Mexican political commentator and blog satirist who goes by the pen name of Sue Alteza. I viewed online the Top Gear segment that makes stereotypical fun of Mexicans and have been following all of the subsequent publicity about it. I categorize the remarks made on the programme as being of mediocre silliness, but not offensive.
We Mexicans often make such stereotypical fun of one another face to face and in television comedies, and do not exclude ourselves from making stereotypical jokes and remarks about British cuisine, teeth, and members of the royal family. So it was rather...
BBC Asian Network
at 1pm on 1st feb 2011 the sikh member of the english defence league insulted the prophet (pbuh) of the muslims on the nihal program on bbc asian network. all this does is open up the doors for more hate to be spread. people like this should not be allowed to be on any type of shows. they are creating a sense fear and hatred against musllims when there is no reason to.
order of the games
i am complaining about the fact that almost every motd programme hardly talk or show the lower teams in the league its unfair that the top teams get all the time and you dont spread the time between all teams.west bromwich albion never get praise...
Top Gear
I can't believe that the BBC has allowed this slating of the Mexican people to go out, broadcast to the world. What were they thinking? Does nobody moderate what these three charming men actually say? And if they do, how do they think that this was OK?
Top Gear
It's about time these bigoted people were removed from our screens. Xenophobic humour was outdated 20 years ago. When my current TV licence runs out I will be getting rid of my television set and only watching shows on the internet. That way I will lessen my chances of seeing these smug, overpaid, small-minded people.
Top Gear - Aussie Bashing
I thought Jeremy's after-thought mention sympathy for the Queensland Flood Victims was a disgrace as well, not that appreciated after 58 minutes of disgraceful Aussie abuse.
Red Button Notice at the end of Stories
Am I the only person who thinks it's outrageous to put up a notice about the red button content towards the end of 'Episodes' (for example).
It's not only very distracting, but also alerts you to the fact that you're near the very end of the story - which takes away the impact of the type of deadpan humour ending to a programme like this. Meanwhile, all of this is only to (presumably) aid the BBC in their remit to promote digital switchover by reminding people...
he Paedophile Hunters
I am utterly shocked at what was said during a conversation between Harvey Johnson and another man on The Paedophile Hunters. For those who didn't watch the conversation involved Harvey Johnson, a paedophile, 'bragging' about what he has so horribly had done to an innocent girl.
Top Gear
Have you gone mad! What did those sheep ever do to you. That was so wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start. Those poor sheep were so scared! You're supposed to be a car show, not farmers on bikes! Cheep telly and cruel! You've just lost 3 viewers :(
alan carr saturday on radio 2
Why is such a brilliant station with presenters like radcliffe and marconie, bob harris,j.vine etc filling in a popular saturday afternoon slot with the likes of alan carr and his giggly irritating sidekick,i didnt catch her name. They should both listen back to the radio programn they produced...
Classic Horror Campaign To Bring Back BBC2 Horror Double Bills
Who remembers the old BBC2 Saturday night Horror Double Bill seasons of the 70's and 80's?
These days there are virtually no primetime screenings of these classic old films which are part of our cultural heritage.
The Classic Horror Campaign is attempting to bring back these iconic double bills with the support of various celebrities, magazines and websites...
Eastenders
I have watched Eastenders since it first began and have seen all manner of storylines like everyone other viewer. But the story line at present concerning the cot death I feel has really over stepped the mark. I have hit the OFF button...

Silent Witness
Can I congratulate the BBC for their lastest episode of Silent Witness - Bloodlines. There were many comments on the web after the first part where it was left on the cliff hanger that Harry Cunningham had died. It got people talking and eager for the second part.
Horizon Science Under Attack
Sir Paul Nurse wonders why science is under attack, the primary reason is because of scientists like him.
Instead of looking at the work of scientists he attacks the public. Any scientist that teaches dogma based on the concept that carbon dioxide is some kind of supermolecule which can defy
